Bleaker Street is the heart of the Village, and the heart of Bleaker Street is a small cafe called Muldoon's. The atmosphere is dim, the drinks are mellow, and the food is hearty - trouble finds no welcome, but yet it is there this evening - the uninvited guest of Pam and Jerry North. Pam has been a patron of Muldoon's for many years now, since her college days, and she's sure that she has spotted an old college chum, Geoff Williams, in the restaurant. Except that Geoff Williams has been dead for over four years... The man is later found on the sidewalk, having been thrown out of the window from the tenth floor. The medical examiner says that he was dead before he hit the ground!
