As we approach Sunday, September 7th, I wanted to take a moment to remind you about a very special occasion—Grandparents Day! This day is a heartwarming opportunity to honor the invaluable role that our grandparents play in shaping our lives and families.

Grandparents Day is all about celebrating family and reflecting on the wisdom, love, and stories imparted by our cherished elders. They are our storytellers, our protectors, and often, the heart of the family tree. It’s a time to pause and appreciate the unique gifts they bring to our lives.

This year, I encourage you to sprinkle a little nostalgia into your celebration by tuning into a couple of gems showcased on RUSC. Spotlight On Grandma from Dr Christian, aired in 1946, presents a family in a delightful frenzy as they search for Grandma, uncovering secrets and love letters that weave history into the present. It’s a touching reminder of the intricate tapestry of family ties.

And let’s not overlook Grandmother Knew Best from Curtain Time in 1947, which brilliantly paints the picture of the wisdom our grandmothers impart. This story is a lovely testament to the guidance that strengthens our core as families navigate life's winding paths.
