RUSC MAILING

Written by Ned Norris

As Halloween creeps ever closer, I will continue to add plenty of thrillers throughout October, including more episodes of Nightfall. I hope you’ve been enjoying them as much as I’ve enjoyed bringing them to you.

I’ve also put together a highlighted list of 10 classic old-time radio horror episodes — the sort of spine-tingling shows that prove radio could raise goosebumps with nothing more than a creaking door, a nervous voice, and a good imagination.

Do check in to RUSC to find out more.

And if these episodes put you in the Halloween spirit, don’t forget to try the brand new RUSC Halloween Quiz and test your knowledge of spooky old-time radio favorites. Then why not share it with your friends and see how they compare.

And if you want to keep the eerie atmosphere going, the RUSC Spooky Radio stream is just the ticket for continuous listening. With 150 shows included, it’ll keep you entertained for many wonderfully chilling hours.

So settle back, switch off the lights, and let the golden age of radio supply the ghosts, monsters, shadows, and screams. After all, the scariest pictures are often the ones we create in our own minds.

Happy listening,

RUSC Old Time Radio
