For over a decade, the series Can You Top This? reigned supreme on the airwaves, delighting millions with its blend of witty jokes and audience participation.

Do you remember it?

It was a unique comedy panel show where the legendary Knights of the Clown Table would try to outdo each others comedy genius with the funniest jokes on a given topic.

But what truly set this show apart was its interactive nature. Listeners from across the country would send in their own jokes, hoping to "top" the comedians and win, not only a cash prize, but also a phonograph of their joke being told on the air.

Their entries were scored using the show's innovative 'laugh meter', which measured the audience's response to each joke - and if they scored a perfect 1000 - they'd receive a certificate too!

I can honestly confess, that I've been laughing out loud whilst listening to these episodes, which I'm pleased to say are now available on RUSC.com!
