It was in the dead of winter that the telegram came to United States Marshal Wild Bill Hickok from the sheriff of Snow Valley. The icy winds whipped swirls of white around the famous marshal and his deputy Jingles as they rode deep in to the Montana hills country and in Snow Valley the sheriff was fighting a losing battle in the general store.
